The Nines Ensemble Series

Over the past three years, The Nines has fostered close relationships with a wide range of gifted musicians. While our nightly piano sets remain central, we’re expanding the stage—inviting artists from our circle to lead small ensembles and share new interpretations of their repertoire.

Each group—up to three instrumentalists and two vocalists—curates sets that draw from familiar influences while exploring new textures and ideas. Whether drawing inspiration from a particular artist, era, or genre, the goal is to deepen what’s already familiar: thoughtful interpretations that remain in conversation with the sound of the room.
